In light of the continuing transit authority budget cuts and stricter green initiative requirements, Dukane Radiator is now offering a remanufacturing service for radiators, charge air coolers and radiator/CAC assemblies.
Our remanufacturing process is far more than just "fixing broken parts." We completely disassemble and inspect the unit, piece by piece - and give you a firm price on the cost to bring it back to (or exceeding) OEM quality standards. The hard parts are white metal blasted and all of the replacement parts are machined in-house, ensuring the highest quality control and cutting downtime for your bus. We then rebuild your unit better - restoring/replacing all bolt threads, adding in new center supports to prevent core flex, using our custom die-cut, one-piece gaskets, and finishing the unit with our exclusive marine-quality epoxy primer and chemically-resistant topcoat. The final step is stress testing the unit at 20 psi to ensure that it meets our high quality standards. We guarantee both our price AND our workmanship - your unit will be like factory new (and in most cases, BETTER.)
There are many benefits of remanufacturing:
Cost savings: Your transit authority can save thousands of dollars by remanufacturing old parts over the cost of buying new. And Dukane Radiator helps you save more than other shops by machining our own replacement parts and paying the freight costs and scheduling the pick up to bring the unit to our facility.
Time savings: By manufacturing our own replacement parts we not only save money but time as well. Our experienced machinists can tear down and remanufacture your radiator in as little as a single day. …and less downtime for your bus means that it'll be back on the road earning money for your authority faster.
Remanufacturing is a "green technology" - the ultimate form of recycling: Instead of sending your old radiators to the landfill, remanufacturing replaces only those parts which are beyond repair and brings your entire unit back to, or beyond, OEM quality standards. Dukane Radiator recycles all old metal parts and fluids whenever possible - keeping them out of landfills and junkyards.
